NGBJ7 CERFP (Vigilant Guard Exercises)

SRI was assigned as a subcontractor on NGBJ7 in Sept 2009, in Support of the Joint Exercise Division (JED). SRI was selected because of its senior staff's ability and specific knowledge in exercise development and the company's unique understanding of the CST WMD and CERFP mission. This contract required SRI to rapidly field large numbers of support personnel as role players, with at times, less than a weeks' notice at multiple locations within the United States and Territories. This ongoing effort speaks specifically to task A 2.3 and A 2.4.

As part of this contract SRI was tasked to support Operation Vigilant Guard Exercise at the National Level for consequence management. This Program is designed to assist the JED Division, the Adjutants General, Commander USNORTHCOM, and the Chief National Guard Bureau in the preparation of supporting plans, programs, activities, exercises, and training. The JED Division is assigned to a training and exercise program that prepares JFHQ/JTF-States for efficient, coordinated operations during execution of Homeland Defense, Homeland Security, and Defense Support to Civil Authorities missions in response to WMD and Natural Disasters. To date SRI has been assigned three task orders;
  • In support of Operation Vigilant Guard SRI was tasked with providing role player support, consisting of 75-300 personnel, training management and exercise support, over a six day period in Buffalo, NY.
  • In the Wisconsin and Ohio exercises, SRI was tasked with training support, collapsed structure venue and role playing services. Over 300 role players were engaged to participate in this effort.
  • Hawaii December 2010, SRI the Army and Air Force Hawaii National Guardsmen and the All-hazards Response Team, conducted a CBRNE (chemical, biological, nuclear, high-yield explosive) Enhanced Response Force exercise at Bellows Air Force Station in order to be evaluated by the Joint Inter-Agency Training and Education Center.
