Robert L. Domenici, LTC (USA Ret.) MPA, MSS CHS-IIIPresident
Robert L. Domenici retired from the US Army after 22 years of active military service as a Lieutenant Colonel and is a recipient of the Legion of Merit and The New York State Conspicuous Service Cross. His assignments included Commander, 2nd Weapons of Mass Destruction (Antiterrorism) Civil Support Team, and Homeland Security Liaison Officer for the Division of Military and Naval Affairs and was assigned to the New York State Governor's Weapons of Mass Destruction Equipment Grant Program Task Force operated under the Department of Criminal Justice Services. During his military services he served in numerous assignments within the United States as well as overseas. He began his military career in 1981 and is a distinguished military graduate of St. Johns University's ROTC program. He earned a bachelor's degree from Queen's College and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Marist College, Masters of Strategic Studies from the US Army Senior Service School, (US Army War College) and is a graduate of the Command and of the US Army Command and General Staff College. In May of 2007 he led a team of international trainers to establish the first Joint Sunni/Shiite Hazmat Team for the Baghdad Fire Department. In 2008 he has led numerous efforts to assist small Afghan companies in the development of support operations for US and NATO Forces, in the vicinity of Kabul Afghanistan. In addition to these accomplishments he has also contributed to the writing of several safety and chemical biological handbook publications for Jane's Defense. John's training background covers the entire training spectrum from being a hands-on- trainer, to collectively managing comprehensive training programs. Highlights include: managed the Infantry Officer Training Program for Lieutenants and Captains at Ft. Benning for the entire ARMY, Commanded one of the Infantry Officer Basic Course (IOBC) Companies where he led, managed and personally taught Lieutenants to become Infantry Rifle Platoon Leaders, selected as Operations Officer for new Infantry Battalion where he planned, coordinated, and supervised the start up, individual and collective training, fielding of a Striker Infantry Battalion, and selected as Executive Officer he fielded one of the ARMY'S first Digital Battalion Tactical Operations Centers at Fort Lewis,WA. John was selected to be assigned to the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) as Senior Maneuver Controller where he directly managed a team of 50 Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in Infantry and Special Operations Combat Operations at the Battalion Level. The JRTC is responsible for training all Infantry and Special Operations Forces in the latest threat in a simulated environment that replicates environments in IRAQ and Afghanistan, to include the direction of real world role-players and scripting of scenarios in mock cities / towns based on the unit's strengths and weaknesses |
